Nepal ,14 July 2026
The University of East London (UEL), in collaboration with The Official Representative (TOR), has successfully concluded its nationwide student recruitment and partner engagement tour across Nepal. Held from 21 June to 10 July 2026, the outreach programme covered Kathmandu, Pokhara, Tanahun (Damauli), Chitwan, Hetauda, Kawaswoti, and Butwal, bringing the University of East London closer to students and education partners across the country.
Throughout the three-week campaign, more than 1,000 prospective students participated in one-to-one counselling sessions, profile assessments, and information seminars. These sessions provided students with valuable insights into UK higher education, university admissions, scholarship opportunities, visa requirements, credibility interview preparation, and the skills needed to be well prepared for studying in the United Kingdom.
In addition to student engagement, the programme delivered professional training sessions for UK education counsellors and partner consultancies, focusing on admissions procedures, compliance, credibility interview preparation, and best practices in supporting international students. The initiative further strengthened collaboration between the University of East London and Nepal’s education consultancy sector.
The nationwide tour was facilitated and coordinated by Mr. Eknaran Paudel, Partner Relationship Manager at The Official Representative, who led the planning and execution of the programme across all participating cities, ensuring its successful delivery and meaningful engagement with students and partners.
The Official Representative extends its sincere gratitude to the University of East London for its continued trust and collaboration. Special appreciation goes to Mr. Kiran Khatiwada, Senior Student Recruitment Advisor – Nepal, University of East London, for his exceptional support, dedication, and active participation throughout the tour. His contribution was instrumental in making this nationwide initiative a success.
The Official Representative also thanks all partner consultancies, education counsellors, students, and team members whose enthusiasm, professionalism, and collaboration made this outreach programme highly impactful.
The successful completion of the University of East London × The Official Representative Nepal Outreach Tour 2026 reflects a shared commitment to expanding access to quality UK higher education, strengthening educational partnerships, and equipping Nepalese students with the knowledge and confidence to pursue their international education aspirations.
